"A Man's a Man for all that!" - Rabbie Burns

"Religion? No thanks. I prefer not to outsource my brainwashing."
Trying to get your average Joe creationist to understand the phrase scientific theory is as hard as getting a fish to enjoy mountaineering. Its an unimagined world for them - it requires a complete reversal of their normal modes of thinking and being. The fact that humans could explain the complexities of this world without a creating God is a world view they cannot grasp. It's like asking a tuna if it appreciates the view from the top of Mount Everest.

Creation Science Major Breakthrough

Creation "science" has long been criticised for a complete absence of any actual scientific merit, research or evidence. However it seems that the rest of us who subscribe to the notion of real science are going to have to eat our words.

Creation scientists have just released a new line of consumer products based on years of top secret Bible research. One of the major breakthroughs has been these fully energy efficient light bulbs that are powered by faith alone. Just think - no more electricity bills!

( Please note that these bulbs are not suitable for use in Atheist households)

Check out the full creation science consumer product range now.

I hear that the same company is selling atheist light bulbs that didn't have an inventor - they just evolved.

Nice. I needed something funny to read.

Looney -
Actually consumer products do evolve - they are subject to consumer selection and designers mutate them until they "fit" the consumer environment. There is also over- production which is analagous to typically excess reproduction in the living world from which the fittest are selected. Apart from the source of the variation the analogy is not a bad one.
