Trying to get your average Joe creationist to understand the phrase scientific theory is as hard as getting a fish to enjoy mountaineering. Its an unimagined world for them - it requires a complete reversal of their normal modes of thinking and being. The fact that humans could explain the complexities of this world without a creating God is a world view they cannot grasp. It's like asking a tuna if it appreciates the view from the top of Mount Everest.

Many young UK Muslims UK want Sharia Law

Theres a report on the BBC news website (here) of a recent poll of UK Muslims which found that "some 37% of 16-24-year-olds said they would like to live under Sharia (Islamic) law. Some 7% of the same age group said they admired organisations like al-Qaeda that are prepared to fight the West.
Almost three quarters of 16-24s said they would prefer women to wear a veil or headscarf, compared with a majority of over-55s being against.

If you really need reminding about the type of society that these Muslims are wishing on themselves ( and us?) you might want to view this video of the stoning to death of four men. BE WARNED - this is a real stoning to death and the scenes are upsetting. We post it here as a salutory reminder of the reality of life - and death - in some Muslim societies. This is the link
